We Enjoyed;

$20 Slow roasted Lamb Leg with Rosemary, Oregano and Olive Oil
Served with garlic sliders, side salad, crunchy chips and Mint Yoghurt sauce.
  • Three large pieces of tender lamb. Perfect
  • Delicious, The flavour was one I associate with the mediterranean, but lamb this good will always taste that way when presented with a yoghurt sauce.
    • The Chimichurri sauce would be another great pairing.

$20 Chinese Cha Sui Pork Scotch Fillet
Served with garlic sliders, side salad, crunchy chips and Cha Sui Sauce.
  • Four sizable chunks of slow roasted pork
    • Awesome Tender Flavourful. Good Serving Size
  • The two slider buns were a great idea. One for scoffing, and one for negotiating a swap with someone with a different cut of meat. Sharing is caring after all.
  • Sweet Cha Sui Sauce was good.
    • The Chimichurri sauce would be worth investigating as well.
  • I particularly liked how the slider buns had been prepared with butter and seasoning.inside.
    • It looked as if it had been applied in a very precise and delibrate way to be discovered by the diner.

Service

 - Excellent
  • Attentive and professional, yet relaxed service at all times during our visit.
  • Once you order at the bar you need to take a card voucher to the BBQ Enclosure, This does give you a chance to have a closer look at this Churrasco BBQ malarky.
  • I guess that if you want a specific sauce you would need to discuss it at this point with the BBQ cook. It wasnt mentioned by the bar staff.
  • When the Beer Line needed changing, the barman immediately offered to bring the drinks to our table. No Fuss. Arrived quickly.
  • We ordered a couple of cocktails. These were also brought to the table in good time.
  • Table was cleared regularly.

Live Entertainment

Singer with Acoustic Guitar. I didn't get his name, but he was having fun and got some love back from the patrons
I enjoyed his set.

Promotions

Competition Draw

Entry form for a variety of prizes, but of things I actually could use 10 pints, 5 cocktails, 4 Churasco BBQ plates. 4(ish) Schnitzels. ( note- I cant remember exactly what the fourth one was),
I normally ignore this kind of promotion, but I was positive enough about the place to hand over my personal details for some very vague chance of getting free stuff. By the look of the jar i stuffed my entry into, I wasnt alone.

BBC Beer Club

They list 100 beers available. And of course being human, if you have 100 Beers lying about for any length of time, someone is going to try to drink them all.
Looks like they have a system in place to make sure intrepid punters don't get lost/confused while on this worthy task.

The Environment

  • Unique. Relaxed, Very Atmospheric.
  • Palms and Fern Plants are wonderfully chilling.
  • Comfy Seat Cushions for Booth Seating
    • This is the only place I have seen these.
    •  A wonderful touch that we really appreciated.
  • Awesome Indian colonial decor with superb attention to detail.
    • The designers had an eye for detail from the smallest fittings upward to entire spaces.
      •  Its impressive to see, and most importantly appears to being maintained properly so the decor and atmosphere is aging well.
  • I could just about believe I was in another continent. perhaps a couple more martinis would do the trick.
  • Architecture is a interesting mix of different spaces,
    • It can be pleasantly confusing at first but it is part of the charm.
    • This building demands exploring. I kept finding myself looking around corners and into doorways to see what was next.
      • Everywhere I looked there were people engaged in some form of entertainment in some amazing looking rooms complete with exotic Indian decor.
      • Even the dreaded pokies.

Cost

Meals $40.00
Drinks $45.50
